Pumpkin Cream for Coffee

Pumpkin season is officially here! And it’s one of my absolute favorite flavors! This pumpkin cream is made with real pumpkin. Pour this over iced cold brew coffee or into a latte.

Sweeten it to taste. Mine is unsweetened, because I don’t usually sweeten my coffee drinks. But you can use your favorite one!

You will love how easy this is to make!

Ingredients:

1 cup of canned pumpkin purée

1 cup of half & half

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1 tsp maple extract

1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

1/4 tsp sea salt

Directions:

In a small saucepan, whisk these ingredients together and bring to a slow simmer. Just allow it to start steaming. Turn off the flame, let it sit for a couple of minutes and pour through a fine strainer.

Store in a glass jar for up to a week. You can froth the amount you wish to use with a milk frother. Pour it over iced or hot coffee. Dust with a little pumpkin pie spice.
